New shop opens to support programs, build community
In June 2023, First Congregational Church opened Thrifts and Gifts, a shop featuring donated clothing and some household items, as well as a series of handmade products from people in the congregation and friends and relatives. It is open Friday and Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm.
“I think it’s amazing,” said Rev. Thandiwe Dale-Ferguson, pastor of the church, adding, “It’s not just about raising money, it is about building relationships and community!”
Thrifts and Gifts is having a huge sale on Friday and Saturday, June 27th and 28th. Fill a bag of clothes for $5.00 and all other items will be 50% off.
Handmade gift items are excluded from the sale.
Thrifts and Gifts will be having a big sale on June 27th and 28th, the last weekend we will be open this summer. Come in and fill a bag full of clothes for $5 AND everything else in the store will be 50% off! Handmade gift items are excluded from the sale.
As a reminder, Thrifts and Gifts will be closed the months of July and August. The team will be taking a well-deserved vacation the month of July before starting to meet again on Thursdays in August to plan our fall re-opening. Stay tuned for messages throughout the summer about the "Extravaganza" we are planning to kick things off again in the fall.
THANK YOU so much for all your donations, purchases and volunteering hours at the store. ALL proceeds go directly to the operating budget to support all the good work being done by FCC Loveland.
