Trunk or Treat - October 31, 2-4 PM

Join us on Saturday, October 31st from 2-4PM in the church parking lot for Trunk or Treat! We need lots of trunks for the kids to enjoy, please sign up on the trophy case. The disco truck will be back this year (yay!) and we'll also have a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores! Please invite your family and friends to join the fun! Also, Thrifts and Gifts is open until 3 PM and if you shop in your costume, you'll be entered into a drawing for a $10 gift certificate to the shop! Youth Group Wreath Fundraiser - Orders due November 15

S3 youth group is holding the wreath fundraiser again. You get real greenery holiday decor. We get funds to support Spirit/Social/Service development for our youth in middle/high school. It's a cheer-cheer situation! We are offering 28" wreaths for $52, centerpieces are $45, and door sprays are $40. Orders are due November 15, items will be ready for pickup on Dec 5 & 6. Thrifts & Gifts - Open Fridays & Saturdays 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

October 16 & 17, all of our Halloween merchandise will be buy one and get one half off. We'll have some geat spooky Halloween sales going on the weekend of October 23 & 24. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year! Come into the shop that day with your Halloween costume on and you'll be entered into a drawing for a $10 gift certificate to the shop. Good, clean clothing donations are accepted on Thursdays, 9 am - 12 pm.

Slammin' Famine

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Slammin' Famine event, and a HUGE thank you to the Mission and Outreach for providing funds to support our church participation in this event!

Update

About 26 FCC members participated in an event to help supply young, hungry children in other parts of the world with life-sustaining meals. From 9:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, February 14th, we worked on two stations, packing 56 boxes with 36 meals each, for a total of 2,016 meals. In that brief period, we were able to provide meals for 272 children for a year. Pretty amazing!! We were joined by many other local churches, small businesses, families, and caring individuals. And it was fun!! We danced to music while we were measuring, weighing, sealing, and packing those meals.
