New shop opens to support programs, build community
In June 2023, First Congregational Church opened Thrifts and Gifts, a shop featuring donated clothing and some household items, as well as a series of handmade products from people in the congregation and friends and relatives. It is open Friday and Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm.
“I think it’s amazing,” said Rev. Thandiwe Dale-Ferguson, pastor of the church, adding, “It’s not just about raising money, it is about building relationships and community!”
We are open on Friday and Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm.
Blast From The Past! (Vintage)
We’ll be featuring Vintage items the next two weekends, including clothes, purses, records & DVD’s, as well as houseware and décor items. In addition, we’ll salute the Red Hat Society which places a strong emphasis on the positive aspects of life. We’ll feature items that have come to be known as symbols of the Red Hat Society – a red or pink hat and purple and lavender regalia. We are currently accepting donations in support of these Vintage and Red Hat Days.
