Children's Ministry

At First Congregational Church, we celebrate children and families as an integral part of our community. Their emotional and spiritual life matters to us. Through art, spiritual practice, bible exploration and service opportunities we seek to help our children love God and follow Jesus.

We believe in life-long faith formation that begins with our young people. Our Sunday school program  (called Sunday Faith Club) is offered throughout the year during the worship hour following the children's message. On the first Sunday of each month, children and youth are invited to remain in the sanctuary and worship with their families as we share in Communion.

Faith Formation Volunteers Needed

The Faith Formation Board is looking for volunteers interested in covering Children's time or helping with teaching Sunday school. We would like to get enough volunteers in a pool so volunteers would only have to teach one Sunday every 2-3 months. If interested, please sign up at the trophy case, contact the office, Pastor Bob or any member of the Faith Formation Board.

Sunday Faith Club - Preschool through 5th grade, 10:15 am. Children begin in Sanctuary and transition to Sunday School, except for 1st Sunday on the month when we have All Ages Worship and celebrate communion together as a family.

Vacation Bible School - For one week each summer, children are invited to learn more about God in an interactive, fun environment.
